Something for us to remember.....

time really flies... feels like these photos were taken just few months back but it's actually taken nearly a year ago.... 31st December 2004, as i can still remember, we had our gathering in SP, the place we spend most of our live there, for New Year Celebration. After few years celebrating new year in Penang, clubbing till early in the morning... some getting drunk... hehe... last year, we usher our New Year 2005 by gathering for dinner... what's the menu? ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Steamboat! i could still remember, the most popular choice was the satay, which Shuet Ching loves a lot!
Picture taken at dinner! All the way down...... same place, same table, same position, snap snap snap!

The we headed to SideWalk, as Ling Wei refuse to go Cacao... even threatened us.. say if we choose cacao, we don't get to see her... sigh.... so, what to do, we miss her so much, we give in ler...

Jae May, Shuet Ching and Su En, taking all the opportunity to have their photos taken before Shuet Ching head back to UK.....

We even get to see performance... haha.. very happening... she-males dancing and singing... not bad at all... Fashion show lagi....
Me and Janice... with the BERHENTI sign... hm...

Last few snaps before we hug bye bye and go home to sleep....

Well, the day ended with Happy New Year wishes and hugs, and of course, the fireworks! It was the we all go home real early after new year celebration... by 1am, i suppose everyone reached home adi.... So this year, hopefully, we can plan for something like this again.... maybe better... maybe more happening...

Someone's GRADUATING today!!

Our Dear Ai Ling is graduating today.. soon to be joining the rat race with me and Ling Wei... haha... CONGRATULATIONS!! we'll wait for you to post you graduation photos.... bet it'll be nice... graduations are always nice.. mine was okay... bet it will be better if you girls are around too... sigh... too bad for me ler...

Jae May/ Ai Ling gang to teachers in school... i wonder why... haha.. could still remember May being so pissed about this asking.. why my name!!!??? argh... haha...

But the best times in school the whole secondary life is definitely GIRL GUIDES... from weekly meetings, to marching (for school events and competitions... haha.. don even remind me of the competition.. cos i will never ever forget), gathering, campfires, cooking competitions... performances and dance practices until.. the practice for Jacky Cheung's song for Thinking Day 1997... practising until... *dead silence*..."Oh.. i think it broke... hm.. Oh My God, it broke into pieces... and the giggling and laughing starts..... sigh.. i missed those days a lot.. don't feel like growing up at all... so u girls agree that girl guides is the most fun thing in secondary school? haha... u tell me...

Cherry Blossoms

Cherry blossoms, or Sakura, are special to the Japanese. The traditional Japanese values of purity and simplicity are thought to be reflected by the cherry blossoms. In the artistic sense cherry blossoms are a symbol of momentary beauty; they last briefly from about a week to ten days and then scatter. In other words, cherry blossoms reveal that the best times are short and we should all enjoy them while they last! Also, the cherry blossoms are symbols of a bright future!

There are at least 2 kinds of sakura – “Someiyoshino” which are the white ones and “Shidarezakura” the light pink ones.

To the Japanese, the blooming of the cherry blossoms signals the end of the long winter, and the arrival of spring. Around the time that cherry blossoms come into full bloom, picnic style drinking parties are held under the trees to view the flowers. This customs is known as “hanami”( hana = flower, mi = look).

Just as cherry blossoms are special to the Japanese, they are equally special to us. Perhaps someday we could all make a trip to Japan to view this beautiful gift of nature. What say you?
