Weekend outing for the CLEO 10 Hours Shopping Marathon in Gurney Plaza (19th Nov 05)

Went to Gurney with Goh and Meng Yee (her coursemate which is an intern in Intel) for the Cleo 10 Hours Shopping Marathon... we din take any photos at the venue, too excited until forgot the camera! Anyways, Event Starts at 10:30am but as kiasu as ever and we love goodie bags n free things.. haha... left home at 9:45am to fetch them both at Goh's place and rushed to Gurney Plaza. Good thing it was not jammed..it's was still early.. and it's Saturday morning... parked my car at the 5th floor, and head to the Cleo booth at the main entrance to see what we should actually do.. was clueless about it.. so it was 10:15 am, the Cleo staff was like hey, free gift redemption starts at 10:30am, faster go n get your goodies! For the first 50 only.. apa lagi, walk as fast as we could to the participating outlets... first stop, Parkson Grand..Shiseido counter and this is what we got, filled in the small booklet, got the freebies and head to Clinique.... and got this! next counter was Ralph Lauren.. got this limited edition miniture fragrance. then off to Biotherm and got this!!! aih.. compare to all the booth, this the the most pathetic one.. :P




anyways, head to Xixili and got this cutesie bra strap with ribbons and then,

head to the Levi's shop for the ladies... and got this.. lucky us, it was the last 3 freebie.. we got there really in time and i got this, the last available free Levi's CD case.. hahaha.. was so excited... Goh was even more excited than me.. haha.. laughing her way out the shop when she was the disappointment of the other girls lining up behind me.. haha...
The Cleo Goodie Bag and the NOV 05 Edition of CLEO!

the max we can get is 8 freebies from participating outlets cos and we got 7! haha.. missed out from body shop.. was too late.. haha.. but we were still happy celebrating our achievement in getting last 3 Cd case for us.. haha... Coffee Bean's voucher was in the goodie bag so it was not redeemable....so we went to the last outlet, Auntie Anne's and got ourselves a drink each...after tiring "race" walking up n down to get our goodies, we got a cup of lime juice/passion fruit juice each.. quench our thirst... and it was only 10:45. All this running here n there happen like in less than 30 minutes.. haha... goodie bags collection was not until 1 pm, so we went to Kim Gary for our early lunch cos we wanna go line up for goodie bags earlier, knowing that there are a lot of kiasu-s like us who loves freebies... haha.... ate our lunch and finished at 12 and went down to see if there are a lot of people lining up already cos we planned to be entitled for the lucky dip where you have to buy things from participating outslets exceeding RM100(accumulated/single receipt) and you are in for the lucky dip.. but lucky dip was from 1pm to 3pm so we still have time after we get collect our goodie bag! haha... there was like around 200 ppl lining up already when we go there and it was like only 12pm...imagine... 200+ kiasu-s including us.. haha....was talking all the way to 1 pm until we finally get to collect our bags... then off to see what is there to get from participating outlets. the first thing i saw was this, the all time favourite Polo Blue 125 ml, normal price ar RM249 and on that particular day for the Cleo reader with shopping card, it's at half price... RM124.50... haha.. there n then i say i want it, paid for it and then off for the lucky dip. what did i get from the lucky dip, haha.. not telling u girls now... will take photos of it then will post it soon! Goh, i will show them soon... haha... Goh got a Biotherm eye cream for RM135 and went to the lucky dip. got herself a RM20 voucher for Red Earth, and a RM50 voucher for Xixili. was really tired already, we went to Coffee Bean and redeem our original Ice blended each... haha.. free drinks again.... checked out our goodie bags and this is what we got!

then went to some shopping, goh got herself some things from red earth with her vouchers, then off to Ausinno to get bedsheet, both of us bought one each, but nor for ourselves.. haha... for our parents... haha... a very red one with cherry blossoms... perfect for Chinese New Year! then called it off the day at around 5pm, was raining heavily, picked up Alex, dropped them home and went home to bathe.. haha.. stinks so badly.. muahahaha... then head back to Gurney for a 6:40pm show, Harry Potter and the Goblet of fire... nice one! got there just in time...haha... never trust GSC's time.. when it's stated 6:40pm, and u are there just in time, don worry, you can still que to get ur drinks and chips/etc cos movie is gonna start at around 10 to 15 minutes later... full of advertisements.. haha... so i went in first and Alex queued for my 1901 New York Chicken... was pretty hungry.. haha.. only got a bread for myself for lunch leh.. haha.. anyways, finish watching movies, went to hang out with some frens, Alex's cousin n wife and another couple fren with their little boy Benjamin! cute lil boy.. show u the pics soon! very soon!
