10th Jan 2006 - Dinner at Passions of Kerala - Indian Banana Leaves Rice
Last Tuesday, we went out for dinner.. actually at first wanted to go other place.. this Thai Restaurant that has the same name as our blog.. but thanks to Ah Goh, she brought us to Holland and come back... haha.. in the end, finally found the place but it was closed!!! what the!!??? so, it was pretty late already, so we decided to go for banana leaves instead and it was nearly 10pm when we reach.. late dinner we had for that day... and we get to watch Mr. Bean at the same time.. muahaha... Dinner cost us.. urm... RM48. Pretty Expensive though... but lama-lama sekali.. lagipun, it's Goh last week of industrial training here... Ah Goh, we will wait for u to come back here soon..... hahaha....
Anyways, here are some of the pics taken that night.....

THE ART/STEPS IN SERVING BASIC BANANA LEAVES RICE
Step 1- Lay clean banana leaves on the table......
Step 2- Add side dishes... consist of stir fry diced french beans, curry brinjal, pickled cucumber+pineapple+onions(usually the malay nasi tomato has it too) and pickled onion...
Step 3- Add rice.... if not enough, can still tambah, no extra charges... even the side dish, papadems and curry tambah without any extra charges...
Step 4 - Splash curry on rice and add papadems... A complete set of basic banana leaves rice!
Extra order dishes clockwise from top right:- Deep Fried Ladies Finger, Onion Omelette, Chicken Curry and Deep Fried Squid!

Why is Goh's face so sour? haha... Cos En's stole her papadem!! Muahahha...
En, the only person eat with hand because we all din cut our nails! :P Sedap hingga menjilat jari!
This one wanna act as if she use hand to makan... but see carefully.. tipu punya... see, her nasi all over the banana leaves, rice eaten but y her fingers are still clean? and hm... spoon and fork on the other hand? hmm.....hahaha..
See Ah Goh angkat bag liao, En cleaning her stucked sisa sisa makanan in her gigi/braces.... all oso know ler.. mau balik oredi... Muahaha...

hehe sure must at least clean lah...then just let it stick like that ah...supposedly brush after eat...but ill just do that at home...eh y you look darker than leng boi one??

cos i am darker than lb.. hahaha... i need to get whitening cream adi cos i always walk n drive in the hot sun during lunch.. teruk la.. any cream to recommend ar?
