My ex-Colleague's early birthday celebration...

Selin's(my ex-HSBC colleague) birthday is not until next Monday... but she decided to take leave on her birthday and stay home town celebrate with her family so we, being kiasu.. haha.. plan celebrate her birthday earlier... cos she have her frens n new colleagues too, so we expect that they will also celebrate her birthday with her next week... so we threw her a so-called surprise birthday, brought her for dinner, she say she feel like eating steamboat, so steamboat it is... we went to this place, Golden Steamboat somewhere behind Giant near Swatow Lane. Although she said everytime she go n eat, she will go home with stomach ache the next day, she still insist wanna eat steamboat... haha.. so i fetch her and we meet up there with Bobo n Melynda... there, although our table have only the 4 of us, but it sounds like there's 10 ppl there.. cos we are loud people(just like us, girls...hehe) and when we started laughing, everyone stared at us... haha.. tat's y we chose to sit outside cos if we sit inside, we will surely sound louder.. hahaha...

After that we headed to Upper penang Road, wanted to go Glo but then it was dark, loud n too packed... cos it's ladies night mah.. but we went in for a while... grab some drinks but decided to go somewhere else to surprise her with a cake! so we walk down to Sega Fredo(Upper Penang Road Sega actually has better ambiance than the other 2[Pulau Tikus & Gurney Plaza], interior is better n nicer), ordered our drinks n jeng jeng jeng......

It's her birthday cake!!! haha.. cookies and cream ice cream cake... bought a small one, just nice fr the 4 of us...

Selin with her cake with 2 big n 5 small candles.. she's gonna be 25 this Monday(April 3rd)!... the pics are all the process from putting candles in the cake to cake cutting.. haha... we had one of the waiter(cute one.. haha.. he has this baby face, smooth clean complexion, looked a bit like Shawn Yue .. haha... ok.. where was i.. ok.. we had the waiter to light the candles for cake... hehe...

the aircond was blowing, the candles were going off but we still managed to run around n snap photos with the cake.. the cake looks like it's on fire... when we finished her bday song, her wish making n everything, the candles left 1/4 only... hehe...

US! we got one of the customers to take this pic for us.... although it's only a small simple celebration with only the 4 of us, we had a great time, hope she had a great time too.. hehe... we left at 12 somehting, i fetched Selin home and reached home at around 1. Took a buffalo bath, hopped to bed n sleep.... ZZZzzzZzzzzz...

Finally, i bought a new bed!

Finally, i got myself a new bed, and a new matress.... Janice n Jmay have slept on the old matress before, if u girls can remember but it's history now...... haha... so waiting my the arrival of a new bed n matress, or course i got rid of everything and clean the whole space.... no more spring matress and no more sleeping on the floor... hehe

jeng jeng jeng.... got myself a new fibre matress.. very hard one.. haha.. like sleep on kayu... but good for posture... and haha... new bed must have new bed sheet... and a new bed which is very simple, no designs, nothing, just as i like it.. keke...

Cute or not??? my girraffe bed sheet... and it matches my computer chair.. the yellow chair... hehehe....

Tambun Seafood dinner 25th March 06..

Last Saturday, actually planned to have BBQ, luckily didn't, was raining cats and dogs!!! we wanna avoid to be so mah huan preparing and all sorts, we changed the plan to Tambun Seafood instead....8 of us... n here's the pics!!

LB drove.. cos i can't really see at night, especially on highways... luckily i din drive cos it rained so damn heavily suddenly... in the end, after dinner, we both made some silly mistake... somehting really stupid, we think we should just keep it for ourselves.... hahaha... keep guessing, we're not telling... cos we can't let the guys know... they will laugh their asses off if then found out...hahaha...

This is where we had our seafood dinner... The Floating Village... cannot see form the sign.. cos the sign's light is bright, so is my flash... but my flash lost la.. cos kena slap by the sign's light, see liao oso blur a bit ler... hehehe... i'm toking rubbish again...

tom yam prawns... mussels, balitongs and fried squid.... service was pretty face.. we reach around 8 somehting.. due to heavy rain.. so we drove kinda slow... the food take less than 30 minutes to be served...

Steam fish, king crab n the eggs..(stinks), then bake crab... and i duno what do they call that, the one in the hot plate...hehe... pakai makan aje... (ok, lb just told me it's called siput kemudi.. "hai jiao" in hokkien, so if direct translation, it's called sea bird in English.. hehe)...

US after eating, cam-whoring like small kids!! there were 8 of us... urm.. let me se... got me, lb, Ah Au, this two frens, Ah Kay and Ah Kean...(both of them if combine, will become "kay kean"... chicken liver! hehehe), then there is John Wei, the the fashionaly later comers, Ah Hwa and his girlfriend... so dinner of 8 kind of dish cost us... urm... RM160++.. cheap eh... but the food, actually, no super good ler.. so so only.. so, worth the price la.. if so expensive.. have to ban adi.. keke....

We went to Flix in Egate after dinner....what we did... we play "chor di" and drink only ler.. din really shake our booty cos the dunno y.. not really in the mood kua... so we 6 ppl drank the whole bottle... but ended up became 4 ppl drink only, me, lb n two of Ah Au's frens..we manage to finish the whole bottle by.. haha.... draw cards from the pack.. who get the smallest number would have to drink.. poor guys, they kena kau kau... one of them keep on drawing ACE, he said he will be having nightmare of ACE chasing him that night.. haha...

Girls night out with my ex-HSBC colleague on Friday..

Last friday, after work, my ex-colleagues from HSBC planned a girl night out, for dinner n drinks.. since we haven't meet each other for sometime already... 4 of us, previously in HSBC, now left only 1 there, which is Bobo(she's 26), the one in white, the one is light blue is Melynda(she just got engaged last few months, she's 25), now in Southern bank, the one in green is Selin(she's 25 too), now in Intel too but different building... so i don meet her often... and me, i'm also in Intel.. so after work, i went home n bathe, wait for them to come fethc me.. they reach my place around 7:30pm, headed to N park to fetch Selin, and we were off to go... but then, at that time, we were still undecided where to go... cos we actually wanted to go karaoke but couldn't make it on time for the Buffet Dinner Karaoke.. so we have to change plan.. Thanks to the traffic, he had more time to discuss in the car.... thinking n thinking, we ended up in Kim Gary.. muahahaha...

After that we headed for a drink at Rice, this some area of RICE, newly moved from 8th row to Tangjung Bungah...

just look as us... we just don wan to grow up... hehe.. i'm the youngest though.. they are all aunties... muahahha.... kidding...

Us cam-whoring.... n our drinks... we have traffic light.. notice it's red, yellow n green? wasn't planned.. when it arrive, i was like... uh... we have ourself a traffic light.. muahaha.. n guess what, the green wan, the kiwi flavoured is called mr bean, the yellow mango flavoured is called mrs bean... haha... luckily, mine the pink, guava flavoured is not called baby bean or somehting... it's viki punch... i think.. hahaha.. and another one is honey lemon...

Poor Guy with a Wierd Name

I was on my way to dinner last nite, and we were listening to the radio in the car. There was this segment where they were talking about the wierdest names one could name their child. So the 2 DJ's were talking to this poor guy who was one of the victims of this "wierd name" cases. Well, 20 odd years ago, his mom innocently named him Benjamin. Unluckily for Benjamin, cos he was born into a family who's family name was Dover. So his full name was Benjamin (some middle name) Dover. I can't remember what his middle name was. Anyway, as time grew by, ppl got sick of calling him Benjamin, so they shortened the name, as many would, to Ben. So what was left of this guy's name?? BEN DOVER!!!!! How wierd sounding is that?!!!??! Ben Dover, as what "Bend Over" would sound. So this poor guy was left with all the teasing and name calling of all sorts..poor thing. He even tried changing his name at the age of 14, but he didnt succeed at that. He's still stuck with that name till today.

Look Alike

My friend had loaned me a concert dvd to watch over the weekend. However, i only managed to watch it just now. So anyway, it was Celine Dion in concert. I'm sure u all know Celine Dion, and if u dont, here's a hint: She sang the theme song for Titanic. Back to the point i wanna make. Through out the whole dvd, one face kept popping into my head. Who's face? It was Nalini's face!!! U all remember Nalini right?? I wonder who first came up with this comparison of her and Celine Dion. Hhmm...

My Weekend on 26th Feb 2006

i went to Gurney Plaza that day as some outlets have already started thair first day of Mega Sales Karnival.. so the kia su me.. went there to actually get some shoes.. fearing that my size might run out of stock, i went the first day.. haha... and i actually got myself more than i should get actually.. in total, i got myself 10 pairs f shoes in 2 weeks... i know.. too much oredi... but it had happened already... and i'm actually getting those to replace the ones destroyed by Jacky! Then got myself few tps from Somerset Bay Anyways, when i reach there, on the main concourse area was the Honda F1 Roadshow... so i managed to snap some pics...







Then on the 7th floor, there was this Project Superstar(It's the Chinese version of the Idols) originted from Singapore... there were a lot of ppl... fans mostly... so i snapped some pic before i went home...

Then i went home to get some rest, snapping pics of my new shoes, hehe... walking around in them... then Alex and me headed Vikky+Victor's place(N-Park) for dinner... They invited us and Danny+Jess for dinner that night... and these are what we had... salad with french dressing... in a nice salad bowl... hehe.. home made satay(marinated by Victor's mom) and the sauce was homemade too.. very healthy... hehe.... and fried spagetthi! yum.... and Victor made some cocktail too which i forgot to took the photos.. hehe....

I Met an IDIOT man today...

*note.. this post is typed, with full blast anger.. mind my language ya.... i am just to pissed... but haha.. guess i'm not the unlucky ones this week... my sis met 3 mother fuckers this week... i met only 1... which enough to make me all fumed up.. imagine 3..... i might have just get someone killed...!

actually, it's nothing serious to me until... until... hmmph... i was actually at BJC with my sis n bro walking n walking and then decided to get ourselves some waffles cos we can actually smell the inviting aroma from 10 metres away... so ppl were walking around, pretty packed at that area, so i stopped there n stood in front of leomag(the stall selling the waffles) and then suddenly i felt something knocked my ankle from my back... so i lift up my leg n looked behind.. so there was this guys with his wife n kids.. a lot of kidsss.. ok.. forget about his freaking kids.. they'll turn out like their idiot dad anyway... so there he was, pushing a stroller and his fucking stroller banged my angkle... no big deal i know... it wasn't painful anyway.. but what fumed me up was...instead of apologise, he said " har.. lain kali berdiri tengah jalan lagi.." where i was not standing in the middle of the way...my sis was shocked too and i was like you mother fucker... (in my heart of course...) followed by series of foul languages... phai seh phai seh.. but was too tu lan oredi... cannot tahan... i know la i lain bangsa...but is it so hard to apologise? or just to say excuse me... what fucking idiot brain he has.... i was so pissed of.. what i have in mind was actually all evil wicked thoughts of him getting run over by a car or a bike then the person who ran him over said those freaking words.. "har, lain kali berdiri tengah jalan lagi...padan muka hang, tak mati pun tak guna.." kurang ajar punya... and he's not even a teenager or kids or whatsoever.. he's a man with wife n kids... a grown up man.. don have brain izzit? this is how he educate his kids.... wawasan 2020... malaysia maju MY FOOT la like that is everyone behave that way! then there was also this group of youngster standing behind my sis.. i don know what they were doing but my sis complained that one of them were coughing behind her and which is very near to her, she can feel the air behind her neck... what fucking idiot would do that when he have so big space behind him... can't he turn around or close his mouth or something... why wanna get all the bacteria from his freaking ugly dirty yucky shitty mouth to stick on ppl's hair or somehting... so rude and uncivilised ppl nowadays.. they think this is they country cos it's named after their race... my foot la! i don mean to offend any other ppl being slightly racist or what, but some of these ppl have gone too far... i am also a malaysian... people are to be treated equally and with respect no matter what race they are... i am just so pissed... i told my sis... i am so gonna blog about this later... grrrrrrr!!!!

Meteor Shower

I love meteor showers. This particular shower i'm talking about took place somewhere end of 1999, on one of the last few nites of the school term. We had all gone to Hu Nee's house, well i should say the kindergarten. We had used the kids tables as beds outside her house, so that we could sleep on them n not strain our necks looking into the sky. We started "camping" pretty early, but an hour or so passed, and not the slightest sign of a meteor was anywhere to be seen. One by one we started dozing off, n then it happened..a meteor was seen in the sky..and another n another..I'm sure we all got excited spotting them in the sky. Hehe..a few funny things happened this time. Most prominent of all, this happened to May. May, thanx for being the funny girl that u are :) Thanks u to, that was a nite i will remember always! Our dearest May walked into the glass sliding door! I think she wanted to go to the toilet or something. And it was probably really dark in the nite, or she was just plain sleepy. But there was such a loud "bang" when her head hit the door, it startled all of us. The only other thing i remember from that nite was that we had all woken up late the next morning, n we were Q-ing up for our turns to use the bathroom. At school, i remember sleeping ON the lab tables in our classroom.

Flashback!!

Hhmm...this silence is deafening. Therefore, since i'm so bored out of my mind, i'm gonna crap. Well its not literally crap..its B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L flashbacks. Ok..i'm just gonna do it randomly, in no chronological order.

This goes back to one fine day somewhere back in 1999. It was just the few of us who got up extra early on this day. If i recall correctly, it was Wen, May, En n me and we had spent the nite at May's house.

Pre-Event:
Ok, so there we were with our "supplies". What were they? Hmm..i cant remember everything..what i remember were rice, chicken, some sort of vege (can't remember what vege, but i think we had vege), pineapple (???) and other basic ingredients needed for cooking such as garlic, onions, oil, salt, pepper, etc. What i can DEFINITELY remember was what soon became our biggest attraction of the day!! HUGE GIANT PRAWNS!! (courtesy of May). Hehe..yes yes, we went for a cooking competition, organised by Dato Bijaya Scouts. So in the morning we loaded May's car with all these things n her moms pots n pans! So off her mom drove us to the competition. On the way, we made an all important pitt stop at some indian sundry shop at Pekan Lama. We were meant to buy something else, but we ended up buying some jar of pickles.

At the event:
The rules of the competition was that we set up our own fire..using wood n 2 miserable match sticks!! TWO!! Well 2 didnt work for us, so if i'm not wrong someone came n help us build the fire. Once that was goin, we started our cooking..i remember we had pineapple fried rice, ayam masak merah, n tom yam soup. Oh n we used the jar of pickles in one of the dishes..when the judges came n asked us what it was, May slumber-ly gave them some answer. I believe secretly inside we were holding back laughter n grins.

Post event:
From the competition, we then straight away headed to the campfire event. So we lugged almost everything with us, except for May's mom's pots n pans, which mind u were now as black as ever! Oopsie..Anyways, at the campfire, we were having fun n all with the rest of the guides who came..At one point in the nite, we got tired n hungry, n that was when we sat at the back of our seating area n scooped into the huge pot of tom yam!
